When I went through HSCT (Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant) for autoimmune disease, I had one goal in mind: to stop the progression of the illness and get my life back.

I was prepared for the procedure. I understood the risks. But what I didn’t fully expect was how hard the recovery phase would be — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.

Once the hospital stay ended, I found myself asking:
